Miami's Top Fitness & Taekwondo was founded by Alain Alvarez in 2005. Master Alvarez is a black Belt 4th. Degree Kukkiwon wtf, Master in Science of Sport Training and is licensed in Physical Education and Personal Training in Cuba which he later validated in the USA in 2003.

His practical experience started when he joined the National Selection of Taekwondo in Cuba for 5 years, winning 3 National Championships and representing Cuba in international events. As a Taekwondo instructor, he trained Havana City Taekwondo Teams that went on to win National Championships, he was a professor at Instituto Superior de Cultura Fisica and the Cuban National Training Program Developer and Supervisor of TKD specifically supervising all Cuba states and the national olympic teams in 2000 when Cuba earned second place among all the participating countries in the Sidney Olympics.
In July Master Alvarez spends almost 3 months training the Cape Verde national selection team in Boston for the VII Taekwondo African Games in Abuja, Nigeria reaching his goal by helping one of the four participating athletes to accomplish the first gold medal of that country which made possible by the excellent athlete Fredson Gomes.
In 2004 Master Alvarez starts as a Boot Camp instructor at Miami Dade College and full time Physical Education teacher at Rockway Elementary.
